Rapper Hirdesh Singh, known as Yo Yo Honey Singh, sought additional time from Maharashtra Cyber after failing to appear for questioning on Monday.
He had been summoned in connection with a complaint filed against him for allegedly making objectionable remarks during a concert.
The singer previously apologized for his comments on social media and called them a disclaimer against unsafe sex.
