PM Modi Urges Secretaries to Engage Youth and Break Silos

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting with secretaries on Thursday, calling for greater collaboration between government departments, universities, and the youth to improve policymaking.

Modi emphasised the effective use of data and AI while citing successful inter-departmental cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic and the West Asia crisis as models for future governance.

The Prime Minister also directed officials to focus on long-term infrastructure, maritime connectivity, and research innovation, specifically noting the need to move from port development to port-led development.
