A 31-year-old MSc Physics student died on August 21 after jumping from the sixth floor of a building on the IIT Delhi campus.
Police confirmed the death occurred on campus grounds, marking the second such incident at the institution since March 2026.
No suicide note was recovered at the scene, and authorities have initiated a formal investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the student's death.
