Araku Pinery expands eco-tourism offerings ahead of peak tourist season

Araku Pinery added pottery, camping tents, adventure rides, and seasonal farms to its pine-lined eco-tourism retreat managed by the Van Sanrakshan Samiti.

The 27-acre plantation recorded 1.79 lakh visitors during 2025-26, marking an 80% increase over the previous year.

The initiative enforces a refundable deposit system for plastic water bottles to maintain cleanliness within the forest landscape.
