Indian Army athletes secured their best-ever medal haul of 20 medals, including six gold, eight silver, and six bronze, at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
The 62 Army athletes accounted for nearly 23.52 percent of India's total tally of 85 medals across 15 sporting disciplines.
Standout performances included Naib Subedar Neeru Dhanda winning two gold and a silver in trap shooting, and Gulveer Singh claiming three individual athletics medals.
