Xiaomi Launches Redmi 17 5G and 4G Models in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 17 series featuring 6.9-inch 120Hz displays, 7,500mAh batteries, and programmable RGB notification lights on the rear.

The 4G model uses a MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra chip starting at MYR 669 ($163), while the 5G variant features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor starting at MYR 769 ($188).

Both devices include 50MP main cameras, IP64 ingress protection, and 3.5mm headphone jacks, with the 5G model utilizing faster UFS 2.2 storage compared to the 4G version's eMMC 5.1.
