Kyiv Bridge Hit by Russian Drone as German Chancellor Visits

Two people were injured on Sunday when a Russian drone struck Kyiv's Pivnichnyi Bridge for the second consecutive day, as Moscow continued attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure.

The strike occurred during a surprise visit to Kyiv by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who reaffirmed Germany's long-term security support and met with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russia launched 135 drones overnight, with air defense systems intercepting 125 of the projectiles.
