Chief Justice To Inaugurate India's 1st Victim Rights Centre In Patna

Chief Justice of India Justice Surya Kant will inaugurate India's first Victim Rights Centre at the Bihar State Legal Services Authority in Patna on Friday.

The pilot project functions as a single-window system where crime victims can access legal, medical, financial, psychological, protection and rehabilitation support under one roof.

A key feature of the 12-month pilot project is fixed timelines, with a panel lawyer assigned within 48 hours of case registration.
