National Stock Exchange shares made their trading debut on Thursday, opening at ₹1,800 on the BSE—marginally higher than their issue price of ₹1,785.
During early trade, the exchange shares climbed up to 3.36 per cent to touch ₹1,845, reflecting strong investor interest following its ₹22,569-crore initial public offering.
The public issue, India's second-largest after Hyundai Motor India's 2024 IPO, generated nearly ₹90,300 crore in demand and marked an end to a decade of regulatory hurdles.
