Google Introduces ADB Wi-Fi 2.0 for Faster Android Wireless Debugging

Google has launched Android Debug Bridge Wi-Fi 2.0, introducing a redesigned mDNS stack to provide faster and more reliable wireless connections for mobile app developers and general users.

The updated ADB server and daemon prevent connection drops during network changes, automatically disabling connections on untrusted networks and re-enabling them once back on trusted networks.

Google reports that ADB Wi-Fi 2.0, which is compatible with Android phones, tablets, wearOS watches, and Android TVs, delivers 66% faster connection speeds and 32% higher auto-connection rates.
