
Nepal concluded its search and rescue operations following the August 26 flash floods, shifting its focus entirely to rehabilitation and reconstruction.
The disaster resulted in 1,455 confirmed deaths, 5,285 missing persons, and 13,795 rescues, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.
