A former national-level wrestler from Maharashtra died after jumping from a 100-foot bastion at Naldurg Fort on September 5, 2026, along with her three children.
While the mother and two children succumbed to their injuries, one daughter survived the fall and is currently receiving medical treatment in Dharashiv.
The victim's family has filed a complaint against her husband and in-laws, alleging dowry harassment and abetment to suicide, leading to an ongoing police investigation.
