Telangana electoral roll revision sees high Form-6 rejections

Telangana's electoral roll revision recorded a high Form-6 rejection rate of nearly 27%, including pending verifications across 119 constituencies.

A total of 2,43,643 Form-6 applications were rejected out of all applications received since January 2026, with the pre-SIR phase seeing a 37% rejection rate.

Official records also showed that 4,54,340 out of 5,13,375 Form-7 applications filed for name deletions between January and June 2026 were accepted.
