New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that SUNY and CUNY systems are expediting late admissions for affected residents and will provide an $800 credit to offset non-refundable deposits paid to Howard.
Howard University stated that students who believe their financial standing was misrepresented should contact the financial aid office for individual case reviews, though the school has not confirmed reinstatement numbers.
