Google has officially launched Tap to Share, an Android feature allowing users to exchange contact information, photos, and videos by physically tapping two supported devices together.
The feature is currently available on Pixel 6 and newer models, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8, with broader support expected by the end of 2026.
Users can manage the feature via Settings under Google > Quick Share, with the ability to customize which contact fields are shared during the instant two-way exchange process.
