Anthropic removed indexed links from Google Search after users discovered that public URLs for Claude chatbot conversations were appearing in search results.
The exposure occurred due to the platform's share feature, which allowed sensitive data like cryptocurrency keys to be indexed if users generated public links.
While Anthropic has cleared the search results, the company noted that previously generated public URLs remain accessible to anyone who already possesses the specific links.
