Logistics operator DHL Express announced an 8.9% increase in its shipment charges in India, effective January 1, 2027.
The annual price adjustment accounts for inflationary pressures, currency fluctuations, energy costs, compliance requirements, administrative expenses, and ongoing labour market pressures across its global operations spanning over 220 countries and territories.
RS Subramanian, senior vice president for South Asia at DHL Express, stated that the price hike enables the company to maintain service reliability while investing in its global network, digital capabilities, and sustainable logistics solutions.
