CDSCO Issues Public Alert on Unauthorised Pakistani Whitening Creams in India

The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation issued a public notice on September 8 warning consumers against purchasing or using unauthorised Pakistani cosmetic products, including Goree Beauty Cream and Chandni Whitening Cream.

The drug regulator stated that the manufacturers lack trade registration certificates and valid manufacturing licenses from State Licensing Authorities or import registrations from the Central Licensing Authority.

CDSCO warned that these products contain heavy metal levels exceeding specified safe limits, posing severe toxic health risks to consumers.
