Volkswagen revealed the all-new Tukan pickup at the Barretos Rodeo Festival in Brazil, with a market launch expected in early 2027 as a replacement for the aging Saveiro model.
The vehicle will be offered in single and double cab versions, featuring a rigid rear axle with leaf springs and powertrain options ranging from a 1.6-litre petrol engine to a 1.5 TSI mild hybrid system.
The Tukan is part of a broader product offensive for Latin America, which includes plans to launch 21 new products by 2028, though there are currently no plans to introduce the pickup elsewhere.
