Eknath Shinde addresses Dussehra rally, announces drought relief for farmers

Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde used his faction's Dussehra rally to announce drought relief and criticize the opposition's claims regarding vote theft.

Shinde claimed the real 'vote theft' occurred in 2019 when the MVA government was formed, and dismissed opposition concerns over EVM tampering as hypocritical.

The government has declared 40 additional talukas drought-hit and is providing ₹5,000 as interim festival aid to farmers, alongside existing compensation and loan waivers.
