Singer Kaushiki Chakraborty sent a legal notice to singer Chinmayi Sripaada and songwriter Shabir Sulthan over their Tamil song Vaanmathi.
Kaushiki alleged that the song plagiarises verses she performed at the Darbar Festival in 2015 and uses her vocals without prior permission.
Chinmayi acknowledged receiving the notice on social media while stating she was unaware of the copied portions during recording.
