Asian Games gold medallist Pranavi Urs awarded Rs 1 crore by IGPL

Golfer Pranavi Urs was presented with a cheque of Rs 1 crore by former Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur at the Delhi Golf Club.

The award recognized her historic individual gold medal win at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, ending a 24-year drought for Indian golf.

Pranavi overcame an early triple bogey in the final round to finish at 15-under 265, edging competitors from China and Singapore by one stroke.
