Civic officials have identified 28 vulnerable hotspots, including Pattammal Street and East Boulevard Road, based on data collected over the past five years to prevent water-borne and vector-borne outbreaks.
To combat mosquito breeding, the corporation has deployed 350 domestic breeding checkers for door-to-door inspections and 46 fogging machines to clear potential stagnant water sources in residential and commercial areas.
