INDIA bloc to hold public impeachment of CEC Gyanesh Kumar on Oct 30

The INDIA bloc will hold a public impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Mallikarjun Kharge's residence in New Delhi on Thursday, October 30, at 3.30 p.m.

Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal alleged that police intervened to make the Ashok Hotel withdraw permission and blocked workers from setting up infrastructure at Ramlila Maidan.

Delhi Police DCP Rohit Rajbir Singh stated that the Congress only sought permission for a November 1 rally at Ramlila Maidan and received no separate request for a mock impeachment.
