
Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended sharply higher on Tuesday, extending their previous session's rally as crude oil prices fell below $100 per barrel.
The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 685.34 points, or 0.95%, to settle at 73,067.81, while the NSE Nifty climbed 220.35 points, or 0.98%, to end at 22,776.10.
Foreign Institutional Investors offloaded equities worth ₹4,699.14 crore on Monday, while Trent surged the most among Sensex firms, rising 12.78%.
