Delhi Court Extends Judicial Custody of CJP Co-Convenors

Cockroach Janta Party co-convenors Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were remanded to judicial custody for two more days by a Special Executive Magistrate at Mandir Marg police station.

The two leaders were initially detained after protesting at Jantar Mantar and shouting slogans against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

The CJP alleged that bail proceedings were deliberately delayed by authorities to prevent the release of its co-convenors.
