UEFA Issues Legal Preservation Letter to FIFA Over World Cup Plans

UEFA has sent a document preservation letter to FIFA, formally requesting that 18 executives retain all evidence relevant to potential legal disputes regarding recent event proposals.

The move follows UEFA's unanimous boycott threat against FIFA's plan to sell minority stakes in World Cups, which has since been dropped by the governing body.

While the boycott threat is currently paused, UEFA continues to seek leadership changes at FIFA ahead of the November 18 deadline for candidates in the March elections.
