Bajaj Auto shares fall 8% on weak September sales data

Shares of Bajaj Auto fell nearly 8% during intraday trading after reporting a 9% annual decline in domestic sales for September.

The company's domestic two-wheeler sales dropped nearly 12% to approximately 2.40 lakh units during the month.

Despite the monthly slump, the company recorded strong H1 FY27 performance with total volumes up 24% to 29.87 lakh units and exports up 47%.
