Amazon Makes Alexa+ AI Chatbot Free for Fire TV Users

Amazon announced on August 19, 2026, that its AI-powered Alexa+ assistant is now free for all compatible Fire TV device owners in the United States.

The service, which previously cost $20 per month for non-Prime members, allows users to utilize natural language commands to control smart home devices and search streaming content.

Eligible devices, including Fire TV Sticks and Fire TV Cubes, will receive the upgrade automatically, with the rollout beginning immediately for users across the country.
