ASHA workers stage protest in Karwar seeking ₹15,000 monthly remuneration

ASHA workers affiliated with the AIUTUC staged a protest in Karwar on Tuesday, demanding a minimum monthly remuneration of ₹15,000 and timely payment of incentives.

Demonstrators also objected to being compelled to use the 'Samasta' mobile application for work documentation without receiving adequate devices and technical support.

District Health Officer Sanjay Doddamani assured protesters that instructions would be issued to stop forcing workers to use the disputed application.
