Manchester City signed 25-year-old midfielder Enzo Fernández from Chelsea on Tuesday's transfer deadline day for a fee of £125 million, equalling the British transfer record.
Fernández, an Argentina international who played in the 2026 World Cup final, joins City's revamped midfield alongside Elliot Anderson and Ayyoub Bouaddi in a deal worth over £300 million.
The transfer follows the departure of Rodri to Barcelona and marks a significant investment for manager Enzo Maresca, who previously worked with Fernández at Chelsea.
