Kenya confirmed its first Ebola case on Tuesday after a Kenyan citizen who traveled from the Democratic Republic of Congo died in Nairobi late Monday.
The patient, who lived in Congo for seven years, traveled by road to Kampala and flew to Nairobi on Saturday before being placed in isolation at Nairobi Hospital.
Health authorities have quarantined 28 family members and healthcare workers while attempting to trace 23 passengers and four crew members from his flight.
