Eastern Railway medical staff are providing 24/7 care to pilgrims at Jasidih and Deoghar stations, treating exhaustion, dehydration, and injuries sustained during the Shravani Mela.
Nearly 20 lakh pilgrims passed through these stations by August 17, with medical teams performing advanced wound care for severe foot blisters and stabilizing heat exhaustion cases.
Principal Chief Medical Director Nataraj Basappa is overseeing the medical arrangements, which include dedicated first-aid booths, wheelchair assistance, and rest areas to ensure pilgrim safety.
