Google Announces New Android Feature Drop for Global Users

Google has launched five new Android tools in its September feature drop, compatible with devices running Android 16 or 17, with specific features supporting phones as old as Android 9.

Key updates include 'Find Hub' for tracking items without tags, 'Motion Assist' to reduce car sickness on Android 17, and 'Guided vision' for AI-powered camera descriptions for the visually impaired.

The update excludes Google's agentic AI suite, which remains unavailable as it requires 12GB of RAM, a hardware specification not met by many current mid-range Android devices.
