Houthi Attacks Escalate Near Saudi Aramco Refinery and Red Sea

Houthi rebels have intensified attacks on government-controlled sites and Saudi Aramco facilities in Jazan, raising fears of a return to full-scale war in Yemen.

A maritime attack in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait on Tuesday resulted in six deaths and 10 injuries, prompting Saudi Arabia to form a new international alliance to protect Red Sea shipping.

Presidential Leadership Council chairman Rashad al-Alimi rejected a new truce, while Saudi Arabia has deepened security ties with Pakistan and Turkiye to counter the regional threat.
