India Two-Wheeler Retail Sales Surge 28% in July 2026

Total scooter sales in India reached 8,71,355 units in July 2026, marking a 23.75% year-on-year increase compared to 7,04,108 units in July 2025.

Electric scooter adoption accelerated significantly, accounting for 11.24% of total two-wheeler retail sales, up from 7.65% in the same month last year.

Honda Activa remained the market leader with 2,06,170 units sold, while TVS iQube led the electric segment with a 38.53% market share.
