Former gang leader Duane "Keffe D" Davis was sentenced to at least 40 years in prison for orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting of rap superstar Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas.
A jury found the 63-year-old guilty of one count of murder with a deadly weapon in September, marking the first conviction in the nearly 30-year-old cold case.
Prosecutors established that Davis acted as the ringleader and supplied the gun used by his nephew Orlando Anderson, with his conviction voiding a prior protective immunity agreement.
