Golfer Pranavi Urs wins historic individual gold at Asian Games 2026

Pranavi Urs became the first Indian woman to win an individual golf gold medal at the Asian Games 2026, finishing with a total of 15-under 265.

She overcame a triple bogey on the third hole of the final round to edge out China's Yin Ruoning and Singapore's Shannon Tan by a single stroke.

Her performance also helped India secure a silver medal in the women's team event alongside teammates Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar.
