Tesla Begins Deliveries of Long-Haul Semi Electric Trucks

Tesla is beginning deliveries of its long-haul Semi electric trucks to an initial set of customers in Sparks, Nevada, nearly nine years after being unveiled.

The long-range variant offers a real-world driving range of 500 miles on a single charge, while the standard variant provides 325 miles.

Customers including PepsiCo, DHL, and US Foods were invited on stage during the webcast event on Thursday, though pricing and production volumes were not disclosed.
