Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that vessels violating rules in the Strait of Hormuz will be punished following an attack on an LPG tanker.
The targeted tanker suffered a massive fire, while the UKMTO reported a separate projectile strike 13 nautical miles west of Al Jazeera in the UAE.
At least 12 attacks on oil, LNG, and LPG tankers were recorded around the strait between September 28 and October 5, marking a weekly high.
