Eight members of the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) have resigned, citing a lack of transparency in the leadership of Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure.
The resignations have triggered an internal crisis, with some members calling the recent Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) illegal and demanding fresh elections.
CINTAA leadership has denied the allegations, labeling the claims as misinformation and asserting that the 68-year-old institution remains stable despite the internal friction.
