Shooter Elavenil Valarivan won silver in the women's 10m air rifle final at the Asian Games with 252.4 points after leading until the 20th shot.
Japan's Taichi Hinata won the gold with 253.0 points, breaking the previous Games record set by China's Huang Yuting in 2023.
Elavenil also secured a team silver earlier alongside Sonam Maskar and Vidarsa Vinod, tallying 1,898 points behind China's world-record score.
