
Polish police detained a local man in the Lower Silesia region suspected of planning an assassination attack against Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz.
The interior ministry reported receiving credible information about possible attacks, prompting security services to convene a special Sunday meeting.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk thanked the police for their swift and decisive action in making the arrest after the threat was flagged by the State Protection Service.
