Aviation Minister Denies Ethanol Blending Plans for ATF

Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday dismissed rumors that the government plans to blend ethanol into Aviation Turbine Fuel.

The clarification follows claims by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who alleged that the central government intended to mix ethanol into aviation fuel.

Naidu emphasized that Sustainable Aviation Fuel is an internationally certified product distinct from ethanol and that no proposal exists to blend the latter into aircraft fuel.
