Auqib Nabi Becomes First Cricketer from Kashmir to Earn Test Call-up

All-rounder Auqib Nabi has been named in India's Test squad for the upcoming two-match series against Sri Lanka starting 15 August, replacing the injured Jasprit Bumrah as the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir.

The 29-year-old secured his selection after a record-breaking Ranji Trophy campaign where he took 60 wickets in 10 matches, leading his state team to their first title in 67 years.
