India Secures Men's Silver and Women's Bronze at Chess Olympiad

The Indian men's chess team claimed the silver medal on tie-break after drawing with Hungary, finishing with 18 points at the 46th Chess Olympiad concluded on Sunday.

The Indian women's team won the bronze medal after playing out a draw with Georgia, anchored by B Savitha Shri who scored nine points out of ten games.

Uzbekistan won the gold in the open section with 20 points after defeating Ukraine, while China secured the women's gold title by beating Vietnam.
