Amazon Introduces Text-Based Shopping Feature Through Alexa Assistant

Amazon announced that US customers can use Alexa for Shopping to search for products and make purchases via text messages.

The new text feature enables users to research products, track price drops, and have Alexa complete transactions on their behalf.

The capability is rolling out to a small group of invited US customers ahead of a broader release.
