Nepal Flood Death Toll Reaches 734 With Hundreds Still Missing

Devastating floods and landslides triggered by a Himalayan glacier collapse near the China border have killed at least 734 people in Nepal as of Sunday.

Rescue operations are currently searching for 933 missing individuals, including workers at 11 hydropower project sites in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.

Authorities have deployed 19,000 security personnel and 16 helicopters, though adverse weather and debris-filled tunnels continue to hinder efforts to reach trapped victims.
