OpenClaw 2.0 Launches with Rebuilt UI and SQLite Integration

OpenClaw 2.0 introduces a rebuilt browser Control UI that reduces startup time from 1.6 seconds to 575 milliseconds and migrates all session and transcript storage to SQLite.

The update features a guided setup that reuses existing credentials for Codex, ChatGPT, or Claude, while defaulting new OpenAI configurations to GPT-5.6 and raising llama.cpp context limits to 64K.

Security testing against 272,000 crowdsourced attacks showed varying success rates, with Claude Opus 4.5 recording a 0.5% vulnerability rate compared to 8.5% for Gemini 2.5 Pro.
