Hundreds of private Claude AI shared chat links were publicly discoverable via Google search queries until a backend fix or deindexing occurred by Sunday.

The exposed conversations contained sensitive information including legal advice, proprietary engineering code, and personal discussions, as the share pages lacked proper noindex tags.

Anthropic has not issued a public statement, but users are advised that previously bookmarked URLs may remain accessible unless the company revokes access server-side.
